Terms of Service

1. Description of Services

Micasa Helper provides an online platform that connects homeowners ("Users") with third-party home improvement professionals and laborers ("Service Providers").

• Micasa Helper is a venue only. We do not perform home improvement services ourselves.
• We do not employ Service Providers; they are independent contractors.

2. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and current information.
• Maintain the security of your password.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. Payments and Fees

Specific payment terms are as follows:

• Booking Fees: Micasa Helper may charge a service fee for connecting Users with Service Providers.
• Direct Payments: Unless otherwise stated, payments for actual labor and materials are handled directly between the User and the Service Provider.
• Cancellations: Cancellations made within 24 hours of a scheduled appointment may be subject to a cancellation fee.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Micasa Helper shall not be liable for any physical injury, property damage, or theft caused by a Service Provider. We strongly recommend that Users verify a Service Provider’s specific insurance and licensing credentials before work begins.

5. User Conduct

Users agree not to bypass the platform to book services with a Provider first discovered through Micasa Helper. Such "circumvention" is a violation of these terms and may lead to account termination.
